Choose a task you have been avoiding or putting off:

Set a timer to 25 minutes (either with an egg timer or with an app).

Work only on the task for 25 minutes. ...

Take a 5-minute break for energy renewal and if necessary start another 25 minute timer and begin working on only the task in hand again

If the task requires several sets of 25 minutes to complete, take a 30-minute break after completing four sets of 25 minutes.
